…”

That’s why every company need to have a good head hunter, since lying on curriculum vitae or resumes is very easy. And based on my experience even some of biggest company in Indonesia doesn’t have a good mechanism for background checking or screening for their employee.

“Jar, you know what, with more than 250 million citizens in your country, definitely is large resources for Indonesia knowledge economy ”
“Yes, I have ever heard that for many times, but how and what should we perform to utilize that?”
“Simple, “creativity is unlimited”

The term Knowledge economy initially introduced by Peter Drucker in 1966 and is widely discussed in as a new economic driver as the information technology booming in the 90’s. In simple explanation as its said in DCMS the Knowledge economy are those industries that have their origin in individual talent, skill, and creativity and that have a potential for wealth and job creation through the generation and exploitation of intellectual property

So as you could see we have two important points here: job creation and creativity. The creativity is easy I think. Indonesian have many creative person, however the job creation is quite difficult. We know that we have more than 40 million of unemployment right here. So, aligning between our knowledge powers with job creation is not an easy thing.

In my opinion there are a lot of way how we use our knowledge and creativity to become something useful in economic term. When we have a talent to draw then we can turn this talent into the graphic design industry, or when we have a talent in music then we can turn this into music industry. Or in very simple thing we can combine it for tourism industry.

However does graphic design, music is really give direct impact or trigger for knowledge economy. Yes, maybe but before that there is something more fundamental that we should make it before we go to the level 2 of creativity. The key is writing, as the level 1 of creativity. Writing should be main foundation if we want to enable job creation for more than 40 million of unemployment in Indonesia.

Writing which produce knowledge will able to give multiplier effect for the entire nation. And the next question, does writing really able to create a job or simply does writing could produce money? Yes, the answer is in internet. We can put our idea, our writing or anything into the internet and read by billion of people in the world. If one idea is written each day from the original idea of let say 10 million young people in our country than the if only the 1% idea which valid than this 100 thousand idea per day would be significant trigger for something would be useful for everyone.

So, what we waiting for? Just write anything each day and share the idea with others.

Do you have any opinion?
