On Jan. 15, the pilot, known as “Sully,” safely guided all 155 passengers and crew aboard US Airways Flight 1549 to an emergency water landing in the city’s frigid Hudson River after the Airbus A320’s twin engines apparently shut down after sucking in a flock of birds. New York Governor David Paterson hailed his exploits as the “miracle on the Hudson.”

True miracle at Hudson River, when an Airbus 320 airplane performs an emergency landing into Hudson River. However this miracle also happens in Indonesia at 2002 when a Garuda Airplane also landing into water. Pilot Mohammad Rozak also able to perform that. However What Sullenberger perform is much more incredible since it happen on huge and crowded city in the US.

Eid al-Adha or the Festival of Sacrifice is a religious festival celebrated by Muslims (including Druze) worldwide in commemoration of the willingness of Ibrahim (Abraham) to sacrifice his son Ishmael as an act of obedience to God. The devil tempted Ibrahim by saying he should disobey God and spare his son. As Ibrahim was about to sacrifice his son, God intervened and instead provided a lamb as the sacrifice. This is why today all over the world Muslims who have the means to, sacrifice an animal (usually a goat or a sheep), as a reminder of Ibrahim’s obedience to God. The meat is then shared out with family, friends (Muslims or non-Muslims), as well as the poor members of the community.
Alhamdulilah, yesterday i got a chance to go to Cirebon, a chance to see my sister wedding, a chance to see idul qurban at mosque near my house. Everything seems very beautiful then.

Today I watch CNN breaking news about Mumbai Attack. There is a group of terrorist -which claimed a Deccan Mujahideen group- who perform the several attack in the multiple site in Mumbai, India. The situation in Mumbai is still uncertain until now. The terrorist use automatic riffle and grenade. Currently reported that 100 people died and more than 200 injuried during that attack.
There is a lot of analysis about who responsible for this attack, but I can’t sure whether Deccan Mujahideen is responsible for this especially when I see the attack which is very organized.
Any opinion?
