If you using Drupal as your CMS you will find that Drupal having a simple problem about empty line for table. This is a common problem, often asked by people who works with Drupal. I dont know how to solve this since it is not a major problem, but more to wrong line break detection when recognizing HTML table
Here is the explanation, if you create the table then you will be using
<TABLE>
<TR><TD>ABC</TD><TD>DEF</TD></TR>
<TR><TD>123</TD><TD>456</TD></TR>
<TR><TD>789</TD><TD>012</TD></TR>
</TABLE>
This HTML code will made a three empty line before the table itself, so the table will be located at the bottom of the page. And if you made more line at the table, e.g 20 line, then the table will be located in very bottom of the page.
The solution, instead writing on several line like above, try to write HTML table as single line. e.g
<TABLE><TR><TD>ABC</TD><TD>DEF</TD></TR><TR><TD>123</TD><TD>456</TD></TR><TR><TD>789</TD><TD>012</TD></TR></TABLE>
And there is no empty line again, and the table will be located on correct place.

Today I watch CNN breaking news about Mumbai Attack. There is a group of terrorist -which claimed a Deccan Mujahideen group- who perform the several attack in the multiple site in Mumbai, India. The situation in Mumbai is still uncertain until now. The terrorist use automatic riffle and grenade. Currently reported that 100 people died and more than 200 injuried during that attack.
There is a lot of analysis about who responsible for this attack, but I can’t sure whether Deccan Mujahideen is responsible for this especially when I see the attack which is very organized.
Any opinion?

Wordpress Blog of The Day (BOTD) is a simple feature from wordpress.com (WP) where WP listed the most popular blog or posting based on the visitor rate to the blog. The BOTD list is generated automatically by system, it is quite fair in several term. Since the rule ‘good content will generate good traffic’ assumed to be working properly. Maybe that is the WP taught in this case.
Also, In term of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) the BOTD is mean bigger that simple list of most popular blog. It give us an extra traffic and also some backlinks that give us very huge traffic. So once you get a chance to be listed in BOTD then the traffic to your site will be increase significantly, also if you understand the visitor pattern then you can decide what type of content that should you write: Job Vacancy, Controversy, Religion (hate speech) Discussion and so on – more over you can see it on the list.
I have been in that position before, utilizing the keyword and content that could drive traffic to my blog. I got many benefit from that system, have a lot of friend, and have a very good recognition. All of this is happen between 2007 and many people try to develop their good content so it can be listed in BOTD. However right now in 2008, I see the pattern of BOTD is changing. Most of people did not try to write a good content but only post controversy content about religion or gossip.
I am not blame anyone who used that method, although I believe that approach is not good for even myself – if you really interested in web development or something like that. Then I believe that one day, people will leave the BOTD list. Follow another pattern such as establishing own dotcom or doing something more useful.
So what do you think? Is there something wrong with WP BOTD?

I know I can’t change the world in one night -true hyperbolic. I know that I can’t reach my too perfect dream in one month. I know it is need a lot of patience to reach any kind of dream. I know that even when I’m already planning anything and have a complete detail step by step there are a lot of x factor that could change anything.

This morning just like usual, i wake up, doing ‘like so usual’ internet activity: replying email, updating some blog/post, reading rss. I like to start my day very early in the morning. Not only because i like the silence, give me more productivity atmosphere but also give me a lot of room for contemplation.
And this morning i pick those picture, taken on last week on the public garden near my house. At that time i was playing with Azkia and my wife. And its happen very fast, we did not realize that even it is already a week a go. Yup, life seems have a very fast pace right now. Hopefully i always could feel this happy situation more often.
Seems there is many thing that should give a higher priority than anything.

Ok, I know that I don’t have a good sense of art (photography is an art I guess), even I don’t have a good gadget skill – I don’t know how to delete a file using Nikon 5100 and always ask my wife how to delete that. Don’t ask me for advanced configuration such as how to set up backlight or timer.
However since the demand to create better and high quality picture –Azkia my daughter is getting more cute and beautiful so we did not want to miss this moment- So we decided to buy an entry level SLR. And after some ‘research’ we decided it to buy Canon EOS 1000D. The price for this entry level SLR is around 7 million rupiah. Getting expensive since before Lebaran we still see the price is around 5-6 million. Thanks to US financial crisis

However till now, we still searching for the best place to buy this camera. Ok, we are very price sensitive and we hate to travel to Kemang, Mangga Dua or others gadget shop in Jakarta. Currently we only able to see this camera at Best Denki Pacific Place –it’s next to our office and maybe in Electronic City, but we haven’t go there. So can you help us, give some recommendation maybe, which shop should we contact and how we can order this camera?

I did not know whether this is ‘pembohongan publik’ or not but the Indosat 3G connection is very bad at this moment. I have checked this connection in several places, some of taken in the CBD area in Sudirman, Thamrin and Rasuna Said. The result is very bad.
I know that the subscription fee is very cheap around 100.000 unlimited accesses with 3GB threshold. A package that everyone seems could afford. But wait, if you see the overall result, then you can decide whether this service is good or not.
Actually most of internet connection in Indonesia has very bad quality of service. Not only mention Indosat but Telkom Speedy which has a strong campaign recently also could not deliver a high quality of service. However no one protest with this. Since everybody feel happy with the low price.
So what is your opinion? Really expecting Indosat made some improvement after this.

Ok, i am in charge for developing some ‘Project Management Architecture’ in my company. Basically it is related with making some best practice / standardized framework to be followed by every layer of the company. Yup, most of my work related with that.
However when talk in to personal view instead from corporate view everything seems become more difficult. Kind of weird huh, it is just as the same as Corporate Finance Advisor who could not manage his own cash flow. At last 24 hours a day is never enough.

Finally i found someone who said like that. I have been involve with web design matter since 2001. Also have won some small competition when i still college. I really love web designing and development at that time. Using Microsoft Frontpage -a must have software at that time, or even use Adobe Live Motion (for those who still remember that software. However since everything become more easy, CSS, Dreamweaver and also the huge development of Wordpress Themeing finally i found a conclusion that i am not that perfect in design matter. So i decide to quit and learn something new that would be more appropriate with my skill.
But i’m still love in Web thing, so i write a blog, got a lot of comments. But then i think i should move to the next phase, the bigger one. That big move refresh my mind that i should begin it with web developing again. But wait the minutes, there are many things change since i quit web development. The new social networking concept, web 2.0 and also the “Web design isn’t art” matter.
